District Announcements

2027-28 Incoming Kindergarten Registration Announcement

Kindergarten registration for the West Babylon School District begins on Monday, November  9, 2026, by appointment only, at the Central Administration Office for students born on or before December 1, 2022. To register, you must first call your elementary school or the Central Registrar to request a registration packet.

Universal Pre-K Announcement 2027-2028

The Universal Prekindergarten program will be funded by a New York State grant.

The UPK Program will be provided by local independent UPK providers as required by New York State requirements, Parents must provide transportation to and from the program.

To be eligible, your child must turn 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2027. Applicants will be selected by a lottery to attend this full day program. In order to participate in this lottery, ALL completed forms and required documentation must be submitted via email to Central Registration at wbregistration@wbschools.org or hand delivered to Central Administration Registration Office, 10 Farmingdale Road, West Babylon, NY 11704 or fax to (631) 376-7019 by 4:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2027.
