West Babylon School District held its seventh annual Blue and Gold Brunch with the Superintendent on June 14. The top 25 students in the Class of 2024 were celebrated for their successes and accomplishments thus far.

Hosted by West Babylon School District’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Yiendhy Farrelly and joined by district administrators, students were invited to celebrate their achievements in the board of education room. The students were asked to choose a staff member who has greatly impacted their educational career to join them as their guest for the brunch.

Dr. Farrelly shared her pride in the many accomplishments of the Class of 2024 and the attendees, noting their achievements not just in the classroom but on the sports fields, as musicians, artists, performing community service and more. “I don’t know how to do it all,” she said. “You are truly all the whole package. Keep that drive and continue to put in that effort as you move forward in life.”

Dr. Farrelly called each student up to be recognized individually and presented him or her with a gift. The student then invited their honored guest to be acknowledged as well. The top 25 gathered for one last group photo together before their upcoming graduation.

Congratulations to the top 25 students (in order from 1-25) Kenneth Kai Miller, Cole Bricker, Andrew Madalone, John Gorczynski, Nhu Nguyen, Rosalin Watras, Alexander Burkhardt, Lauren Kutchens, Dylan Mulieri, Justin Jastrzebski, Logan Iversen, Liam Henshaw, George Cooke, Ian Franklin, Izebelle Hillebrand, Anna Bricker, Conor Davis, Zuzanna Obrycki, Ella Simonson, Sara Blloshmi, Cenahi Smith, Matthew Cella, Vamsi Parikh, Julia Ossmann and Lauren Limongelli.
