West Babylon Junior High School held a Parent University and English as a New Language writing celebration for its students and their families on June 5. The event was organized by West Babylon Junior High School ENL teachers Ms. Salas and Ms. Shulman.

Town of Babylon Deputy Town Supervisor Antonio Martinez and Commissioner of Parks and Recreation Eva Rodriguez spoke to the ENL students and families about events and programs offered through the Town of Babylon this summer.
Additionally, representatives from the West Babylon Public Library spoke about summer reading programs and programs offered, including adult English as a Second Language classes.

To complete the evening, students read some of their best and most meaningful writing pieces aloud to an audience of teachers, peers, and family members.
