More than 2,000 awards were handed out to worthy recipients during the annual eighth grade awards ceremony on June 25 at West Babylon Junior High School. To celebrate their success prior to moving up to West Babylon Senior High School, the students gathered with their families one final time prior to their junior high school graduation. Students were presented with awards and certificates for their success both in and out of the classroom with honors for academic achievement, community service, attendance and more.
