West Babylon Junior High School students recently participated in a lesson in exploring waste management thanks to a special visit from Will Flower from Winter Brothers and Mary Cascone, Town of Babylon historian. Working in the library, students delved into researching the state of waste on Long Island. Mr. Flower, an industry leader in waste management and environmental protection, spoke to students about how they can make a difference. Ms. Cascone has been providing students with information on the history of waste in the Town of Babylon for their research.
