Varsity Athletes Honored in West Babylon

To recognize and honor the hard work and dedication of its varsity athletes, West Babylon Senior High School held its annual Varsity Sports Award Night on June 6. Special awards for most valuable player and sportsmanship were presented to each of the teams.

In addition, Jade Dockey was named the All-Around Outstanding Female Athlete and Liam Henshaw was honored as the All-Around Outstanding Male Athlete. The Helmer Petersen baseball award was given to Anthony Gerbasio, and Alejandra Garci and Logan Iversen won the Donald F. Bolinger Memorial track award. Carmine Apuzzo won the Richard Rowcroft lacrosse award, and Thomas Raccomandato won the George Kruse Memorial lacrosse award.
