In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, first graders at Santapogue Elementary School learned all about the work of Dr. King. Students listened to a story and wrote examples of what he did to make the world a better place. They studied his “I Have a Dream” speech and wrote about the ways they could spread kindness. Using different shapes made of construction paper, first graders also created a portrait of Dr. King.
