EMERGENCY/EARLY DISMISSAL DRILL NOTIFICATION

In accordance with the State Department of Education mandate, the West Babylon School District will be conducting an emergency/early dismissal drill on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Students will be released earlier than their normally scheduled times as follows:

Senior High School 1:44 pm

Junior High School 2:10 pm

Forest Ave, Santapogue, South Bay 2:40 pm

JFK and Tooker Ave 3:10 pm


The S.A.F.E. program will be open November 27th. All sports and evening activities will proceed as scheduled. All after school clubs and activities (with the exception of sports) will be canceled.

Please make appropriate arrangements for the early arrival of your children as a result of this drill and provide alternative plans if no one will be at home. Also, as part of this drill, the district will be testing our telephone communication system and will be sending automated phone calls and emails via Parent Square on November 27th to inform each student’s emergency contacts about the early dismissal drill.
