In honor of Veterans Day, the fourth grade classes at Santapogue Elementary School recently created cards for local veterans. As part of a grade-level writing activity, the students first learned about what it means to be a veteran. Fourth graders then crafted cards that thanked them for their service to our country. Some of the cards will be delivered to the VA Hospital in Northport. For students who have a special veteran in their lives, those cards will personally delivered to them.
