The first graders at South Bay Elementary School are getting into the fall season by reading “Creepy Carrots!” by Aaron Reynolds. Students worked on opinion writing by forming ideas about whether they thought the carrots were creepy. The first graders supported their opinions in their writing and shared ideas with classmates. After discussing their writing, students created their own version of creepy carrot art.
