As part of their recent social studies unit on “Me, Myself and Others,” kindergartners at Tooker Avenue Elementary School created “Who Am I?” posters. Students wrote clues about themselves on the front of the poster and featured a drawing or photograph of themselves on the back of the page. To learn more about their classmates, they took turns guessing which student the posters described. Parents also participated when they visited the classroom on back-to-school night. The activity was an interactive way for kindergartners to know themselves and their peers.
