Students in Ms. Tocci’s class at Forest Avenue Elementary School are celebrating the grand opening of the Eagle Bean, a mobile delivery service for coffee, tea and hot chocolate prepared and delivered by the class.

Every other Friday, Ms. Tocci’s class delivers hot beverages to those who order on Google Forms. The students tally up the orders, working on their mathematical skills and counting the money received from each delivery. The service also helps students hone their communication abilities.

Staff members use “coffee cash” to pay for the Eagle Bean orders. The class hopes to raise $100 in “coffee cash” to purchase a pet fish for their classroom.
