To recognize and honor Patriot Day on Sept. 11, students and staff at John F. Kennedy Elementary School arrived to school dressed in a sea of red, white and blue. Students also made banners about the holiday and wrote words of peace inspired by the paper cranes at the 9/11 Memorial.
